Consequences of Late Auto Insurance Payments

.
.
You may not realize this, but it would cost you more than just a late fee when you are late on your auto insurance payments. Not only you will be charged a late fee, but in most cases, you will also jeopardize your current coverage and maybe your future insurance rates. Sometimes, if you send your payments very late, without you realizing it, your insurance policy would have been cancelled and most likely you would be driving your car without auto insurance coverage.

Sometimes, people think that you are covered because you mailed in your auto insurance payment but that may not be the case because receipt of your payment by the insurance company does not necessarily mean reinstatement of your auto insurance policy.
